Welcome to another Merrill-ISM segment. Today's segment is Time to Modify your Plan. As you listen to today's podcast and Merrill-ISM, the end of June is, frankly, a few days away. What that means is the birds are chirping a little louder. The days are a little longer. Baseball is happening, which I love. The warm, scorching Texas weather is here. And the year, believe it or not, is half over. Yes, half over. You blink, Labor Day is here. One more blank, Thanksgiving with some turkey and stuffing. And then New Year's. Wow. We have heard the phrase time flies, but I got to tell you something, it really does. And with the year half over, it's time to modify your plan. If you are doing great, fantastic. Perhaps hire another person or two or transfer a person into the department that is booming. And you can exceed your goals even that much further. If you're booming, perhaps increase your marketing budget. Perhaps sponsor a conference or two to strengthen your brand. Business is all about twists and turns. Most companies in the insights space are not booming. They aren't where they want to be. They aren't having the year they thought they would have. Now what? What decisions, what moves, what strategies do you need to put in place to have more success? To perhaps right the ship and position the company to get off to a great start in 2024. I would suggest and even perhaps argue, in today's business environment, this is when leadership teams and CEOs are needed the most. They truly earn their stripes, earn their money.
