Merrill Dubrow: My name is Merrill Dubrow, CEO of M/A/R/C research and a 35 plus year veteran of the insights community and the host of our podcast On the M/A/R/C. Welcome to another Merrill-ISM segment. Today's segment is the different stages to life and the questions that go with it. I know that's a little tricky but let me try to explain. As you know, I put a high value on friends and family. It is and always will be of the utmost importance to me. When I go back and think about my life and some of the questions and things I would discuss with my friends every decade, I think it would go something like this. So if every 10 years, I had a question I would always ask or discuss with my buddies. Here's what would happen. Stages in my life. In my teens. What sports are you playing? Pretty obvious, right? In my 20s. Who are you dating? Again, pretty obvious. In my 30s it was how are the wife and kids? Sounds reasonable. My 40s, it was how are your parents doing? And how's their health? In my 50s, this is probably when life changes a little bit. How are you feeling? In my 60s, this may sound familiar to some, how many pills are you taking a day? In my 70s, which I've got a way to go. It might be how are you doing with walking with a cane? And in my 80s, it might be something like hey, how fast does your scooter go? Wow. What quite a list of questions. One for every decade, I guess. Definitely different and change. If you put your stages and your questions in a bucket almost what are some of the questions you would ask? What would you add to my list? And in what decade would you ask them? I look forward to hearing from you. My name is Merrill Dubrow. Today's segment is the different stages to life and the questions that go with it. Stay well, stay safe and please, please stay in touch.
