Merrill Dubrow: My name is Merrill Dubrow, CEO of M/A/R/C Research and a 35 plus-year veteran of the Insights community, host of our podcast On the M/A/R/C. Welcome to another On the M/A/R/C Merrill-ISM, "Successful businesses are always about one thing: dot, dot, dot, communication." You know, I've been asked many times, "How is your business doing? How is the economy affecting your business? How did COVID affect your business?" And I'm going to admit, in today's economy, business is and can be challenging, but to me, no matter what the situation and no matter what obstacles are in front of you, success always comes down to one thing, and that one thing to me is communication. Can you communicate your strategy internally and make sure everyone on the team is moving in the same direction? Everyone knows what the goals are, what success looks like, and how they can help with those goals. With clients, are you communicating in the right way to win in today's business world? And are you doing the same thing with prospects? Without question, the way that companies won five, 10, 15, 20 years ago is not only different, but totally different. The companies and leaders that win today and are successful today are great communicators. They take their vision, their strategy, and present that internally and externally in a timely fashion, to ensure they have success. And as you listen to this podcast and the thoughts behind it, February is pretty much over and almost 17% of the year is complete. Successful companies are communicating and refining their strategy often to make sure everyone is informed and up-to-date with goals in 2024 and potential goals in 2025. If you have a leader or you are a leader that doesn't communicate effectively, perhaps, just perhaps that should be your top goal. Thanks for listening to today's On the M/A/R/C Merrill-ISM, "Successful businesses are always about one thing: dot, dot, dot, communication." My name is Merrill Dubrow, I look forward to hearing from you. Stay well, stay safe and please, please, stay in touch.
